Hello people! So, it was my birthday last Thursday. Many thanks to everyone who showed up, I was really touched and happy that you guys bothered to make a trip down; especially Doro, I hope you had a great birthday that day as well, love.
The day began relatively normally, I met wifey at Vivo City for some window shopping, and had sushi for lunch. Here she is in an overly exposed test shot. Oh, we also bought stuff from Charles and Keith, seeing as I have the birthday discount. Mental note for myself to check out The Body Shop tomorrow as well, and Tangs*. Finally got myself those to-die-for snakeskin wedges, shared present by wife & tongz, thanks:)
And there's me, happily eating my salmon maki. We took a bus down to town after that, walked around FEP and we both bought nude pumps; browsed around more before creating a storm in the bathroom (lulz), then rushing to the Heeren to meet Bb. Parted ways with grace, walked with bb to cineleisure, where we took neoprints. I haven't had the time to scan them in, but I will soon if I have spare time.
After taking neoprints, we stumbled across one very oblivious boyfriend making sneaky preparations outside of Shokudo where we were meant to have dinner in an hour or two. -_- Got chased away by him before realizing it, went downstairs to accompany bb for a smoke. Zander came down after awhile, saved my lungs (teehee!) and we whisked off to tour Orchard while Bb went off on the pretext of "meeting Alicia".

After walking in killer shoes for awhile, I relented and changed into my awesome grey suede wedges. Returned to Shokudo, had a round of rock paper scissors to determine who decided to pick the dishes for the day. And I won, at last, God was on my side that fateful evening.
Z and his soft-shell crab spaghetti, yum! I had seafood soup spaghetti, don't have a picture.
Ooh, cream of mushroom! It tasted vaguely different, yet similar at the same time. I guess it's because they used real Japanese mushrooms, you could taste the distinctiveness of it. Wasn't too bad I'd say.
And lastly, the dessert. Mango kakigori, 100% mango goodness!!!
Little did I know there was something hidden inside, something totally unexpected that made my day :)

My mind sort of went blank for awhile. I was just eating, and moving ice shavings out of my way when i saw this piece of metal inside. I serious almost thought a piece of equipment'd fallen into the thing while they were preparing it, until I realised truly what it was. Going back I would have wanted to cry out of happiness but I guess it only happens in movies, blah~
I'm dying to wear it but hmm, it's been sent back for engraving. Meant to wear it on my fourth finger but it looks weird there, so I've no choice but to stick to the middle. (I think Mom would kill me if she saw the fourth finger with a ring on it anyway XD)
And back to where we were; after the entire saga, Z received a call and dragged me to the window pane; I reluctantly looked down and this is what I saw.

We were joined shortly after by Long and the rest of the bad boys. Haha!

+ I was really praying they weren't those candles that wouldn't put out, like from my 17th birthday -_-
+ Making a wish, I think I wished for something along the lines of "I wish everything good would happen." Hey, you can't blame me, it was embarassing, PLUS, I didn't think of a wish beforehand.

After going through almost 20 people, we were done.

After procrastinating for a REALLY LONG WHILE, we decided to go fucking PLAY LAN!!!!!!!!! WOOHOOOFUCKYEAH. So everyone, excluding Grace and Bb, paid to pay Counterstrike and Left 4 Dead. Can you spell AWESOMEEEEE, my geekiness extends into my 18th year of surviving on this Earth. My existence is COMPLETE!!!!!!!!!

And that brings us to the end of my birthday, meant to go for karaoke but that meant not going home, which meant dying a day after my birthday so I sacrificed my happiness for my mother's sanity. ^_^ Thanks again to everyone who congratulated me and made my day <3
